The NFL has the stupidest athletes on earth

And yet they all went to College and according to what I've always been told they get a first class education there. Not sure what they learn but some 101 driving skills wouldn't be a terrible idea.

Anyway:

Rice’s name was not listed in Dallas County jail records as of roughly 12:40 a.m. on Sunday. It is uncertain if any charges are suspected against him or if anyone sustained injuries during the accident. A spokesperson for the Dallas police did not promptly respond to a request for comment. A vehicle believed to be registered or leased to Rice, according to officials.

Rice is native to North Richland Hills, Texas.

If this dude was proven driving this car and left the scene his career is over. Texas has one the most stringent hit and run and leave the scene laws in the nation.

Looking at those images it doesn't look like a location where running away will be easy. Given the wording of the report and the location it is of course possible the car was being driven by a family member or friend.

It would still help though if he'd at least give the Dallas police a quick call to tell them where he is.

Yeah never mind.

7:50 AM PT -- Dallas PD tells TMZ ... "Police were called to a multi-vehicle accident in the 6600 block of northbound North Central Expressway. The preliminary investigation determined two drivers, one in a Corvette, the other in a Lamborghini, were speeding in the far-left lane."

Cops add, "The drivers lost control and the Lamborghini traveled onto the shoulder and hit the center median wall, causing a chain reaction collision involving four other vehicles." A total of 6 vehicles were involved in the crash, too.

Dallas PD goes on to say "The occupants of the Lamborghini and the Corvette all ran from the scene without stopping to determine if anyone needed medical help or providing their information. Two of the involved drivers were treated at the scene by Dallas Fire Rescue for minor injuries and two occupants of another vehicle were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. The investigation and identification of the suspects are both ongoing."

Bye bye Rashee.

Bye bye Rashee.

Unless they can prove he was driving not much can happen right?

He can just deny it. We all know what probably happened but that’s not how the law works.

But damn… I don’t get these athletes. Go to a fucking track.

The Corvette was driving like total shit but don't understand why the Lambo veered right into that car with a wide open lane in front of them

That being said, it could have been much worse. Hopefully whoever went to the hospital isn't injured that seriously. Here comes the lawsuits...

Here comes jail time. Felony fleeing, leaving the scene of an accident with bodily injuries, reckless driving, etc. Those are just for starters.

He's in real trouble

They were probably highly intoxicated which would explain the poor decision making.

As a matter of fact, the decision to leave en masse may make this case tough to prosecute.  Who was driving?  What was their mental state/sobriety level?  Who possessed firearms and when?  Without solid answers to these questions, there may not be any charges filed.  And, if none ever are, you know Roger will treat Golden Boy's favorite WR target with some kid gloves.
